About FITC
About FITC
FITC has produced events over 30 events over the last 8 years with over 15,000 attendees through 18 cities around the world. From Flash to Motion Design, FLEX to AIR, Mobile and more, FITC events each stand as unique and exciting experiences that inspire, educate and challenge. We have also collaborated on dozens of other projects widening our scope and allowing us to bring you the best events out there when it comes to content, networking and of course great parties!
Are they all Flash events?
We began as a Flash festival back in 2002 and we've kept Flash at the core of most of our events; but we've also expanded and have continued to add more diverse topics over the years, ever expanding the programming of our events. From motion graphics, pure design, mobile, to more technical topics such as Flex and AIR and processing, our events cover the coolest and best the industry has to offer. We also produced 'pause-ideas in motion', an event focused solely on motion graphics, as well as, FITC Mobile, focusing on...you guessed it, Mobile, across all platforms.
What's the goal? Why do we do it?
The idea behind all of our events is to bring like-minded people together. Presenters and attendees who have a passion for the industry for, flash, design and the new and exciting; FITC events bring them together to learned, be inspired and challenged to improve.
What happens at the events?
It starts with the presentations; solidly packed days of presentations both technical and creative. The presentations are held by hand-picked presenters from around the world who are all eager to share and meet you. For most of our events, you will have multiple tracks of presentations to choose from. It's also about the networking. Being able to meet and talk to people who share your passion for this industry. Meet them at the presentations, in the exhibitor hall, or at one of the evening parties. Did we mention the parties? We don't mean to toot our own horn, but FITC parties are legendary. Not that you should come just for the parties, but you could, if you really wanted to. We wouldn’t tell anyone.
Who goes to an FITC event?
Flash Designers, Flash Developers, Motion Graphic Artists, Digital Artists and anyone with an interest in Flash and digital media. From our technical presentations for the beginner, the intermediate, and the super advanced, to the inspirational creative sessions, there is always something to choose from. And there are always new and interesting people to meet and talk to.
