The Return of the Blob
Frank will be showing filters and effects that go far beyond the
simple usage of Flash built-in´s. For instance, the DropShadowFilter
or the BlurFilter. In this talk Frank will combine many filter and
code-snippets, which leads to results that perform well, and very
usable and quite unique.
He will show many examples and sources of his daily work that focus on
performance and efficiency: from diverse Filter Sets that compile
blob-like cellular formations, to Pixel Bender Shaders that he has
developed (a few of them a part of Adobe´s official Photoshop Pixel
Bender Add-On right now).
Frank will even use a hair drier as an emitter to influence, blow-dry
and stimulate Pixel Bender based generative art.
