Women make up 49.76% of the world's population and offer tremendous contributions to every facet of humankind. We know there are amazing women working in our industry, and we want to see them at FITC Toronto 2010! As such, for FITC Toronto 2010, we are giving away 50 FREE festival tickets to women working in the industry who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend.

So, how do you get your ticket?
Simple. Tell us with a VIDEO or a Flash Movie why attending FITC Toronto 2010 would be important to you! Tell us your story, why would attending would make a difference?.
Then, on March 1st, 2010, we will select the top 50, and give out free tickets! Its that easy!

What will we be looking for in the top 50?
• Creativity
• Originality
• Quality
• Bonus points will be given for those created in Flash

We thought about different ways of giving away tickets, and felt this was a fair way to help ensure that the tickets go to those who really want them. We may use the videos to help market the event, so make them good! Please make sure that you tag your video as PUBLIC so we can view it, as well as share it on this site for others to see.

Rules
-All entries must be either a video or a Flash Movie. All entries deemed 'acceptable' will be entered for review.
-Deadline for all entries is March 1st, 2010
-The prize must be accepted as offered...no cash value or substitute will be offered. We are not able to refund anyone who's already purchased a ticket.
-It is the responsibility of the winner to cover their own transportation, accommodation costs, food, and any other related costs associated with attending FITC Toronto. The prize is one FITC Toronto 2010 Festival Ticket.
-All decisions are final. Winners will be contacted by March 7th, 2010


HOW TO ENTER
To Enter, complete the form below and send us the link to your video. Make sure to tag your videos with 'FITC' and 'FITC Toronto'.

Help with getting your video or Flash piece online

If you have a webcam...
1. Visit this youtube link .
2. Select ‘Allow’ and close. Then press record. (We highly recommend that you write out what you are going to say before recording. Rehearsing what you are saying will greatly improve the video!)
3. When you are done, click ‘publish’ and then Save. (The default setting is ‘Share your video with the world’. Leave it on that setting.)
4. When video plays, copy the URL and include it in the form below.
5. Be sure to tag your videos with 'FITC' and 'FITC Toronto'.

If you have a video camera and have made a video...

2. Follow the instructions. Be sure to leave the default setting to be 'share your video with the world'.
